3D Printer on the Moon?

The article linked below describes efforts underway at NASA to address the feasibility of landing a 3D printer on the surface of the moon and using native materials to "print" structures on the moon.  The process holds promise for colonization efforts on the moon and beyond.  Closer to home, these technologies are expanding the versatility of a wide variety of advanced building materials that might be used in the built industry.
