Can We Crowd Source a Smart Built Culture?

The built industry needs a Smart Built Culture.  Our Dumb Built Culture fails too often.  So let's fix it.

Update:  Several peopled have emailed me asking for more details.  Looks like I need to work on the message.  Here's a link to an explanatory post, Smart Built Culture Series Explained.  Feel free to chime in with questions, but let's get this train out of the station!

Let's work together to create a Smart Built Culture that supports and enables BIM and IPD.  I have a Kickstarter Program waiting in the wings but I want to know whether any readers of the blog or LinkedIn contacts intend to step to the plate and support the effort.  The Kickstarter program has affordable support options of $25, $50, $75, $199 and $299.  But I'm not going to launch a Kickstarter program with ZERO support.

Thus this post.  I want to know whether the readers of this blog and followers on LinkedIn can crowd source the Smart Built Culture book or not.

Are you interested in real change in the built industry or not?

It's time to put up or shut up.  Click this PayPal link below to donate and prove you are serious.

Then link your friends to this blog post and let's get them on board as well.  If I get a positive response to this post I'll launch the Kickstarter Program for the book in April with a full court press. If we cannot move the needle here then I'll just pull the plug and continue litigating construction claims in the Dumb Built Culture.

Ya'll let me know how you want to proceed.

Below is the current pitch from the Kickstarter website.  Would welcome feed back here too.

How can I Support Creation of a Smart Built Culture?
Creating a smart built culture requires support at every level; in the C Suite, day to day management and at the field level. Everybody matters! The Smart Built Culture Series, the Smart Built Course and the Smart Built Culture book provide supporters options at every level. Companies, executives, managers and individuals interested in creating a smart built culture should support the trio of options, the Series, the Course and the Book.  Individual support, welcomed at every level, proves critical in revolutionary efforts like these and individuals should identify a support mechanism that matches their passion and budget too.
Sponsoring the Smart Built Culture Series
If you operate out of the C Suite sponsoring the Smart Built Culture Series demonstrates your company understands and supports BIM and IPD and provides learning and marketing opportunities for key team members throughout your company as a whole.  Sponsors enjoy extraordinary access to web events, workshops and exclusive round table events.  Companies interested in sponsoring the series can select a sponsorship option in the rewards section of this Kickstarter program or by contacting James L. Salmon directly.
Participating in the Smart Built Culture Course
The Smart Built Culture Course provides participants at various levels with the opportunity to support the creation of a smart built culture in the built industry.  Individuals can purchase single course lectures, package lectures or the entire course.  Organizations can purchase access to the course for multiple employees or members.  Supporters interested in the course can follow the link below for more information.
Supporting the Smart Built Culture Book
You can also support the process by purchasing the book.
Regardless of whether you sponsor the series or sign up for the course you should order the book and provide key personnel with access to the book on the Global e Training platform.  Contact James L. Salmon for more information about how to do so!  Again, find a level at which you can support this Kickstart project!.
Managers, with the ear of influential supporters in the C Suite should reach out to those supporters and advocate full blown sponsorship of the Smart Built Culture Series.  Managers frustrated with banging their heads against the wall in the C Suite can adopt Guerrilla tactics by providing staff and other supporters with access to series materials through Global e Training's website.
Field level personnel can sign up for individual events and support the Kickstarter program.  Whatever you do support the effort,  Together we can create a smart built culture!
Again, it's time to put up or shut up.  Click this PayPal link below to donate and prove you are serious.

After you donate link your friends, colleagues and contacts to this blog post ad let's get them on board as well.  As noted above, if I get a positive response to this post I'll launch the Kickstarter Program in April with a full court press. And if we cannot move the needle here then I'll just pull the plug and continue litigating construction claims in the Dumb Built Culture.

Your choice.
