Katy's Castle Exercise Over the Web

In June, James L. Salmon delivered several short presentations in Chicago, Toledo and Cincinnati that revolved around the concept of having workshop participants plan, design and construct Katy's Castle.  The LinkedIn group, BIM & IPD in Chicago asked James to deliver the workshop to the group over the web and with the help of Mike Bordenaro of the BIM Education Coop and David Ivey at HOK James was able to do so.

The BIM & IPD in Chicago group gathered at HOK's office and James appeared via a Webex connection to facilitate the exercise.  Fun was had by all and you can read more about it in the article posted by Mike Bordenaro on Slide Share, Katy's Castle in Chicago.

Take a peek at the write up and contact James if you think your organization might benefit from a similar exercise.  The next version of the workshop will be delivered for the AIA Chapter in Rochester, NY in September and will be followed by events in Edmonton, Canada, and in Toledo and Cincinnati Ohio. Call if you have any questions.
