Ethereum to Host Future BIM Applications?




Ethereum, a blockchain platform modeled after Bitcoin, purports to enable miners operating on the platform to run any piece of software they want. While the scope, nature and purpose of Bitcoin is very precise, the creators of Ethereum envision a bold new internet that is more secure and less susceptible to control by others than the current architecture of the internet. The idea behind it to build entire distributed software platforms available globally that are as secure as the blockchains that underpin Bitcoin, but with exponentially more flexibility.

Very interesting stuff that will impact everything if it succeeds.
