Nanotech Update - New Super Fiber

Carbon nanotubes continue to amaze as building blocks in the nanotech revolution. While applying such advances in the construction environment may take years, the possibilities intrigue.

Researchers at UT-Dallas developed a super fiber consisting of a rubber core surrounded by carbon nanotubes that stretches 14 times its length and experiences no decrease in conductivity when stretched. Very interesting stuff.
